OUR WEBCAM IS (FINALLY!) WORKING

The webcam will upload a new picture every fifteen minutes, between 5:00am nd 9:00pm, seven days a week. If you are checking the site between those hours, the picture above is current (less than 15 minutes old).

We are an all-inclusive information source for members of Bucks Lake Water Association and everyone who loves Bucks Lake!

Based primarily around our state-of-the-art weather station, this site contains all the information you need to plan your time in and around Bucks Lake.

WEATHER
Constantly updated weather conditions will give you current temperature, rain/snow fall, wind chill, etc.

Our computerized weather station based on the shore of Bucks Lake proper will update the website every hour.

For those who want to know, the hardware is Oregon Scientific WMR968 and the software is Ambient Weather's Virtual Weather Station, Internet Edition.

NEWS
Here we will place items of interest for people who love Bucks Lake. We update news as often as needed to stay current. We also encourage your emails to feed us stories we should be aware of.

WINTER
This, combined with the Weather Station info, is your source for first-person details about the latest snow, trail, road and weather conditions.

About us:
BucksLake.net is an information service hosted by Mike and Linda Hoover, 23-year residents of Mile High Road.

In addition to running this site, we are active members of the Bucks Lake Fire Department.

Linda volunteers for the Forest Service Monitoring Program in the winter. Mike is a groomer operator and a volunteer weather reporter for KXTV - Channel 10 in Sacramento (ABC).
