I think the last post got a little scrambled. The PG&E crew says the damage is “catastrophic,” and they do not have a target date for getting the power back on. This is now, I think, 7 days.
Trees continue to fall, and that makes Bucks a very dangerous place right now. Until a good portion of the very heavy snow sheds from the trees, it seems that any tree, anywhere, could fall at any time, so be aware.
The groomer has been in constant use keeping the basin and the access roads rideable. Be sure to check the Snowdrifters website, as the Groomer Blog is quite up to date.
