IMPORTANT STUFF. READ ON

First, reminding all Bucks Lake property owners that the annual Association meeting takes place at the Haskins B&B area, 8 am on Saturday July 10.

Next, a comment to the persons who stole the display panels from the Forest Service kiosk at Bucklin Road and the Oro-Quincy Highway. How does it feel to be a creep? Those panels were the result of years of Forest Service and volunteer work. They were funded by a grant, so there is no money available to duplicate them. And several of the photos will not be available in the future.

You can fix this. Under cover of night, just like when you stole them, you could get them back to any Forest Service office. You could make the world a slightly better place by doing that. Please.

It’s really depressing that some are in a place in life where they have to take from others for self gain. How do they sleep at night? What sort of example are they setting for their kids? Our family had numerous items taken from the cabin and beach by such “creeps” that took no time to consider the efforts to provide a place of recreation for our families, the hard work of others that makes it nicer for everyone, including those creeps if they were just to stop and take the time to think about it. I’m wishing swift karma upon the guilty.
