I have had a comment from a person who says the information released by the Forest Service, which I have quoted here, is all wrong. He is citing Butte Co. Road Department.
Since I have not yet driven it, I do not know who to believe.
Best advice, believe only what you see. As always, 70 in the canyon is a safe bet.
