At the cabin, Saturday snow total: 10″. Sunday snow total: 38″. That is not a typo. I managed to get the Ranger out to the Dam Road on Sunday. Zero visibility, just felt my way. And it seemed, as it often does, that the snow was about 6″ deeper there. On the Dam Road, I drove to the kiosk, and then gave up, as I could not see.
Forecast for the rest of the week is wet. But, the snow level is supposed to be around 6500 feet. Our new snow will soak up a lot of rain before is starts to fall apart. I hope that does not happen…
